Let’s start with the truth. Many things happen in veterinary clinics that are sad and also sometimes a bit morbid, or weird, or darkly humorous. Its why writing a book about behind the scenes in the veterinary world is very difficult to get right. However I have spent the last 13 years writing and publishing my thoughts, feelings, and absolute crazy experiences of life as a veterinary nurse in the UK. Through my column in Vet Times the veterinary newspaper my stories have entertained the veterinary profession for quite some time. I feel now is the right time to share with everyone some basics about veterinary work, it’s not all Supervet or James Herriott because the hard truth is it really is ‘never the owners knickers’.
Join me as I present to you the perfect collection of articles on animal welfare, some veterinary history and the classic Vet Tails happening in a vet practice near you. Right now.
